Hi, I’m Zowie from Penarth. I’m a 42-year-old registered nurse and proud mother of two wonderful children, aged 6 and 8. Being one of four siblings, I cherish my amazing family. My mum, also an Aesthetic Nurse, has always been my inspiration. When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me running around with my kids or exploring the mountains, my favorite place to be.
I’ve been a registered nurse for 18 years, with experience on surgical wards, caring for patients pre- and post-operation. Eleven years ago, I ventured into aesthetics while still working full-time. After having my children, balancing long shifts became challenging, and I realized I was missing out on precious moments with them. My passion for aesthetics grew, leading me to take the plunge and become a full-time self-employed aesthetic nurse, establishing the Face Clinic.
Starting my own business came with challenges. The trend in aesthetics leaned towards a more overfilled look, but I envisioned something different. I wanted to promote natural treatments that enhance an individual’s confidence and provide subtle, undetectable improvements. My goal was to create a company based on ethical practices, treating each patient as an individual and dedicating time to understand their needs. Despite my concerns, my approach resonated with many, and I discovered a market for the “less is more” philosophy.
I love my job and am grateful for my amazing clients who trust me and know I have their best interests at heart. I am based in a clinic in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan, and also work once a week in a clinic in Cardiff.
